Donating Money 

You are able to donate money via the Library Foundation or our Friends groups.

• Contribute to the Library Foundation of Carver County via a GoFundMe 
• Contribute to the Library Foundation of Carver County with a print form: Download and print if you wish to mail in your donation.

Donating Materials

Thanks for your generosity! We welcome limited donations (one or two bags) of gently used books and DVDs in good condition at any of our locations. If you have a larger donations, Chanhassen Library will be able to accommodate them.

We are unable to accept the following:

• Anything in bad condition
• Old computer books
• Textbooks
• Magazines
• Software
• VHS tapes
• Audiocassettes
• Vinyl records
• Crossword books, workbooks, journals, or other books published specifically to be written in
• Encyclopedias 

Note: local authors can donate a copy of their work to be considered for addition to the local author collection by submitting a copy along with this form. The collection is housed at Chanhassen Library.
