Use MNLINK to search for and request materials from other Minnesota libraries that Carver County Library doesn't own, including articles from journals and magazines (i.e. Interlibrary Loan). If the item you're looking for is less than a year old please use our request form to request that we get a copy.
To use MNLINK, after your search, click on the title link, then the "request item" button to start the process. For journal and magazine articles, be sure to click the "Journals" tab and be as specific as possible. If it's your first request, you'll need to select the library you want it sent to. There is no way to specify the location the item is sent from.
If MNLINK can send the item, It takes approximately two to three weeks for it to get on our hold shelves. Journal and magazine articles sent by email will take less time. We'll notify you when your item arrives. When you return your MNLINK items, you'll need to do so at a Carver County Library location.
If MNLINK can't send the item, they will email you (if you have an email associated with your account). You can try requesting the items again, but there's no guarantee they can send it.
To see what MNLINK holds you've placed and their status, sign into your account and click on "My Requests.” Check the "Show Everything" box to see all requests.
Contact your library if you have log in problems. You can check the MNLINK Help section for more details or contact MNLINK directly.
